*NEW there is a separate chute for our Challenge Route participants located to the left of the stage. Challenge Route will be available on Saturday, for experienced cyclists only. There will be a small pit stop at the end of the turnaround point. All route lengths are approximate and subject to change.


Tents and other camping gear will not be provided for participants, all overnight camping gear must be provided by participants. Personal campfires, regardless of the energy source, are not permitted.


NEW this year, we will be providing Friday evening festivities in the campground for registered riders including a food truck, campfire smores and lawn games. Please visit the Tour team at the Re-Reg tent to pick-up your $10 food truck credit in advance (registered riders only, food is available for purchase for non-registered guests).

If yes, it must be pedal assisted with a maximum power of 500 watts, and maximum speed of 32 km/h. Use of a throttle is not permitted.

Participant Waiver

The participant waiver contains important information for Tour weekend and must be reviewed and completed by all participants before arriving at the event. By signing, you agree to the conditions outlined within it.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (the “Waiver and Release”)

I, the participant, on behalf of myself, my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, representatives and assigns, hereby forever waive all claims and release, discharge and hold harmless the Alberta Cancer Foundation and Alberta Health Services (the “Organizers”), and their representatives and agents including, without limitation, Event sponsors, Event directors, Event contractors, Event producers, municipal, provincial and federal governing agencies, park governing agencies, and all other entities associated or involved in the organization or staging of the Event, including, but not limited to, volunteers, third-party vendors, all venues in which Events or segments of Events are held, and the members, officers, directors, employees, representatives, assigns, affiliates and agents of any of the foregoing (collectively, the “Releasees”), from any and all losses, costs, causes of action, claims or damages, including any claim for damages for personal injury or property damage, howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event, notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by, without limitation, the negligence, breach of contract, breach of any statutory or other duty of care, or errors in judgment of any kind of the Organizers or any of the Releasees.

The 2026 Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer (the “Event”)

The Event is a charitable cycling event taking place from July 18–19, 2026, in the Province of Alberta. Participants will cycle through various routes across Alberta while raising funds to support cancer research and patient care.

The routes include three distances on Saturday: Short (~70 km) (“Short”) Long (~100 km) (“Long”) Challenge (~160 km), available on Saturday only and intended for advanced cyclists On Sunday, participants may choose either the Short or Long route (collectively, the “Routes”). The Route selected and all decisions regarding participation in any portion of the Event are entirely at the discretion of the participant. For greater certainty, the Event includes all activities related to the Event, including those occurring before, during, and after the cycling portions.

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that the Event is a test of a person’s physical and mental limits and that participation involves inherent risks, dangers and hazards. I freely and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event, including but not limited to: physical exertion; traffic hazards; collisions; falls; accidents; equipment failure; property loss or damage; changing weather conditions; road conditions; natural objects; contact with other participants; and the risk of illness or injury, including muscle strain, broken bones, concussion, soft-tissue injuries, infectious diseases, cardiac arrest, permanent disability or death.

I certify that I am mentally and physically fit, have adequately trained for participation in the Event, and have not been advised against participation by a qualified medical professional. I acknowledge that I will not participate while under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs or any impairing substance. I acknowledge that the Organizers are relying on my representations in permitting me to participate.

If I choose to ride an electric bicycle, I confirm that it complies with all applicable provincial laws, including a maximum power output of 500 watts, a maximum assisted speed of 32 km/h, and pedal-assist functionality only (no throttle).

Fees and Donations

I understand and agree that, in the event of cancellation of the Event due to inclement weather, acts of God, or circumstances beyond the control of the Organizers, registration fees will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation, any registration fee paid will be converted to a donation and will be eligible for a tax receipt where permitted by law. I understand that all donations and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of whether I participate in the Event.

Equipment

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the safe operation and condition of any equipment or property I use during the Event, including my bicycle and safety gear. I understand that failure to operate equipment safely increases the risk of injury or damage.

Media Release

I grant full permission to the Organizers to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings or any other media captured in connection with the Event for any purpose, including promotional and commercial use, without compensation. Personal Information (PIPA) I consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my personal information by the Organizers for Event administration, safety, logistics and communication purposes. Certain personal information may be disclosed to government authorities as required by law. Personal information is protected under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). I consent to receiving communications from the Alberta Cancer Foundation and understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Age Confirmation

I confirm that I am 16 years of age or older. If I am under 18 years of age, I acknowledge that parental or guardian consent is required and that I must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the Event. Acknowledgement and Governing Law

IN SIGNING THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM NOT RELYING ON ANY ORAL, WRITTEN OR VISUAL STATEMENTS, INCLUDING PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS, MADE BY ANY OF THE RELEASEES. I CONFIRM THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND THAT BY SIGNING IT OR REGISTERING ONLINE, I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.

This Waiver and Release shall be governed exclusively by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta. I irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, and any legal proceedings relating to this Waiver and Release shall be commenced in Alberta only.

Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up is available starting June 24 in Calgary and June 30 in Edmonton, ONLY once online check-in is complete.

Packets will also be available at the Strathmore Stampede Grounds on Friday July 17th from 1pm-7pm and Saturday 6:30am-7am for participants located outside of Calgary and Edmonton. You must pick-up your packet in order to participate in the 2026 Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer.


A teammate can pick up your packet for you ONLY if your fundraising minimum is reached and your online check-in has been completed.
